Music by John Miles. Even when I was six I thought it sucked. I had to listen to that song every single day of every holiday of my childhood - so I associate it with going somewhere I'm probably not going to like to do something I'm probably not going to enjoy.
(Ditto for Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, Orinoco Flow by Enya and the whole of Music By Mark Knopfler From The Film Cal, but they're actually okay. I suppose)

I had expected to find it funny but the couple of songs that I heard just sucked. Right now the only one I can remember is Enter Sandman. It was like a "lounge singer" version of the song but with less character.

Now, Pat Boone was very funny promoting the album. His appearnace with Metallica on one of the award shows had him in a leather vest and a bunch of tattoos.

It also says alot about the "Christian Community" that they didn't get the joke and were asswholes about it.

Neil Diamond (pick a song) If I EVER, and I mean EVER have to listen to Sweet caroline again, I will go on a psychotic rampage and make it my personal mission to kill every single earwig on the planet.
That, plus Crap.

We had to sing that song when I was in Junior High.

I haven't heard it... but Pat Boone covering Metallica??

That's worse than Geri Halliwell's cover of "It's Raining Men", which was the equivalent of Christina Aguilera covering Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive". (Not that Christina Aguilera ever will do that...)

Pat Boone In a Metal Mood: No More Mister Nice Guy

1. You've Got Another Thing Comin'
2. Smoke on the Water
3. It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock & Roll)
4. Panama
5. No More Mr. Nice Guy
6. Love Hurts
7. Enter Sandman
8. Holy Diver
9. Paradise City
10. Wind Cries Mary
11. Crazy Train
12. Stairway to Heaven

As you can imagine several of these suck royally if done in Boone's style. What is the point of Panama without Eddie Van Halen's guitar?
