anyone have a restaurant theatre?

Post by Shrykull »

Here's one I went to http://www.chunkys.com food wasn't the greatest but it was cool you could get drinks and food without missing any of the movie, don't have to get up, except to go to the bathroom, which brings me to my next remedy- a bathroom with a screen in it.
And, does anyone remember when movies used to have "intermission" where the movie would stop and you could get up and get snacks, etc? The only movie I ever saw that had it was at a theatre in an old hotel (I saw Rambo 3) when did they stop doing it?

They stopped having intermissions when it was realized that people where willing to sit and watch for longer periods and would still buy lots of food. However occasionally you do still have intermissions, but only with the rare 210+ minute movie.

Actually, in some places, I know that "Titanic" had an intermission, as well. That being fairly recent, it hasn't really stopped, as mch as it has simply slowed down.

Hmm, was Braveheart or Nixon or Midway that long?
