Yes, a $200 bill, feature President Bush and a White House with signs saying "I like Broccoli" and issued by the Moral Reserve Bank.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
Of course not. Grover Cleveland is on the thousand dollar bill.Montcalm wrote:Maybe the $1000 with Bill Clinton on it was`nt available anymore.Soontir C'boath wrote:Indeed even if it was meant to be revenge on the store but only 200 dollars..pff..~JasonKuja wrote:One wonders about the moron that must have been behind the register.

Reminds me of the euro introduction when we had a string of incidents with 300€ bills around here (there is a legit 200€ bill). They were accepted in about a dozen cases, mostly because people weren´t familiar with the new money yet and the bills were actually quite professionally produced. Authorities were absolutely clueless for about a week since there were no connections between incidents apart from the bills and general geographic area and the whole thing seemed awfully bad organised and low key, especially considering the high quality of the bills.
In the end it turned out to be a marketing gag of a large local brothel/strip club. They had the money produced for their customers to give the strippers in house and such. Kinda like that disney money you can buy at disney world. They just got it a bit too right and some customers brought it into circulation. The club apologised and (IIRC) no charges where filled.

They tried to pass it as legal currency. That makes it illegal.kojikun wrote:could this be considered counterfeiting? its not like the guy copied real money, he just made something that looked real and that someone was stupid enough to think was real despite knowing better.

That reminds me of a few months ago when my dad mistakenly used my check book for something, signed *his* name onto *my* check and the bank teller didn't even bother to check if the damn signature even matched.
