Every time I hear Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven I always, always, always think of Lord of the Rings and Middle-Earth in general. Never fails.

In fact, my sister's Zeppishness is rubbing off on me; she's an absolute 100% crazed, obsessed Zep fanatic and she got me into them. No big surprise, since Tolkien influenced their music. Stairway to Heaven, Misty Mountain Hop, No Quarter, Battle of Evermore...

Far and away: About the ring's temptations

Ramble on: I think is either about the ring, or about the guy who married that elf, got killed, and then came back.

Rimsky-Korsakov:

Flight of the Bumblebee

Debussy:

Claire de Lune

Massenet:

Aragonaise from the ballet "La Cid"*

Khachaturian:

Chopin:

And this is just a rough list, off the top of my head. There's much more that I simply can't think of at the moment.

I own well over 500 CDs... From classical to rock to sountracks to 80's to jazz to anime. How do you expect someone who loves music so much to choose one piece of music. :)

Oh yes, I've also come to enjoy AC/DC, as they can make ANYTHING sound awesome. Even my desk could sound like some kind of supreme being in a song of thiers, :)

Exactly, I don't have a favorite. I go with Beethoven's 9th just because it is voted as everyone's favorite classical work every year. Plus, I haven't met a single person who hasn't ever disliked it, even if they hate classical music. :P
