Where did Jegs go?

It could just be me, but I haven't seen him in quite some time. Did his unit get activated to go to Iraq? Anyone have the scoop?

I'm 90% sure he's part of the 3/2 infantry brigade at Fort Lewis, which will deploy during this month to Iraq. So likely he's still in the states, but moving a mech mechanized brigade with a lot of brand new equipment around the world requires a whole lot of prep work, to understate it.

Though part of me is suddenly thinking he's part of the 1/25th, another Stryker unit at Fort Lewis that won't be deploying until next year.

He makes the occasional post, but they're few and far between. He's a busy man with an important job to do.

Jegs posting has quieted down quite a bit. I think he is simply busy with work.
I dont know anything about his unit going to Iraq, but it would not surprise me if anyone in the military right now said their work load is pretty heavy.
