I was watching a John Wayne WWII movie. He was in a C-47 and just before he was going to jump out, he said "Give 'em hell!" But the engine roared during "hell!" so it just sounded like "Give 'em RRMMMMM" I always thought that was interesting to see how damned conservative people were at the time.
