From And Based On An Actual Event

Post by Montcalm »

I just started to think about how many dramatic event in real life were made into movies,tv movies or partly inspired an episode of any tv show,we know there is the In the line of duty series on different police operation like Ruby Ridge,Waco,(The SanDiego bank robbery wich was recreated in an episode of the single season tv show "High Incident").

So what is your opinion on this,is it just showing what happen or a big rating grabber.

It's November sweeps. Of course they're going in for ratings.

It must suck for CBS though since two of their sweeps contenders were pulled; one was a dramatization based on the Reagans and the other a Michael Jackson special.

Speaking if which, which show got higher ratings? The Elizabeth Smart Story or Saving Jessica Lynch?
