A tip for the next time you encounter the PETA:

Remind them of the fact that plants are living organisms, just like animals. Some people can't just see the wood for the trees. (no pun intended)

I told them so. They said that plant's don't feel pain, so it's okay to kill them.

With such brochures as "Adopt a Turkey" and "Compassionate Living" which argues that it isn't natural to eat meat .

The solution is to jerk off in the faces of hot PETA chicks and teach them that "eating meat" is natural.

Wasn't there a study that actually showed that plants felt pain? Like there would be a little twitch or something when you chopped part of it off. While it's not like the emotion, it is a response to stress.

I never heard of one. I'll have to google that up after I finish my last paper of the semester.
