Guerilla Religion, some suggestions wanted

Again, i must state it once more. You people are saying we are all evil people who hate all who are not all just like us. I disagree with that. Im not even going to keep going because i know you will just keep BSing until you feel content with yourself. This is just starting to make me mad, and i would really not like to get mad.

I watched 60 Minutes tonight. Apparently, fundamentalist Christians are supporting Israel. The reason? They believe that the Jews retaking their traditional home signals the Second Coming. So they're pretty happy with Sharon killing Muslims and forcibly evicting Palestinians. One of these fundies actually said the Israeli Prime Minister who signed the Oslo Peace Accord was against the will of God, so his assassination was the act of God punishing him.

These kind of things remind me constantly that religion is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, cause of human suffering.

I'd go as far as to say that many of the Fundementalist Christians I've read about on this board might as well not be Christians at all. They just seem to be angry people hijacking a faith for their own rampant self-aggrandisement and to gain power and control over others.

How can you have any trouble saying that religion is the single greatest cause of human suffering throughout history? And dare I say, Christianity in particular.
