here's my own all-meat sub:

meatballs
spaghetti sauce
beef grounds
bacon
parmesan cheese
vinegar
oil
chicken slices
pepperoni
and some various sliced cheeses for variety. ;)

I love to make tuna salad on a kaiser roll with a slice of sharp American cheese. I like to put the following into my salad:
tuna
crabmeat (real or imitation)
shrimp (breaded or not)
warm, chopped-up breaded fish sticks or fillets
pickles (any kind, or relish)
tomatoes
onions
peppers
mild salsa (if you don't have the last three)
mayonnaise
brown mustard
thousand island dressing (can replace mayo in a pinch)
This is good on any sort of bread or rolls except untoasted white bread.

I also like to make chicken salad with canned chicken, warm, cut-up breaded chicken of any sort I have on hand, with the same veggies, bread and cheese.

In addition, there's a hamburger I came up with of which I'm pretty proud. It's put together like this from top to bottom:
toasted italian white bread
mayonnaise
slice of tomato
melted mozzarella
spaghetti sauce
beef pattie
toasted italian white bread
thousand island dressing
slice of pickle
melted velveeta
beef pattie
toasted italian white bread

I'm a huge fan of roast beef, ham, turkey, on wheat with provolone and swiss cheese, brown mustard, lettuce, onions, and pickles. Unless it is time for breakfast, in which case three sandwhiches must be made with an english muffin, a slice of American cheese, a scrambled egg, four half-slices of bacon each, with black pepper.

My tastes are pretty much exactly like RedImperator's. However, I cannot stress enough that it must be a 'real' cheesesteak. If it is absolutely impossible to acquire one, something made in an Italian suburban greaseshop can provide a (poor) substitute.

I'd like to extend that to anyone enjoying McDonald's, but I'd probably get mobbed by half the NG.

I can't decide, but the one I'm eating now comes damn close.

Moist pastrami
Jarlesberg cheese
Tabasco sauce
Sourdough

Toasted so the pastrami's hot and the cheese is melted. Oh yeah. To complete the picture, it's snowing out.

And what, precisely constitutes a real philly cheese steak? I love those, but what is it other than thin sliced with melted cheese, peppers and onions?

I'm quite partial to a 1ft long BLT from Subway. I get one every Friday lunch time which sets me up nicely for a night of drinking.

Tuna, with a little pepper and some lettuce. I'm pretty boring when it comes to sandwiches.

Ham. Cheese. Tomato sauce. Brown bread.

This is all that you need.

Sex sarnie

Toasted bread, preferably warburton's toaster bread, + burger + fried egg + peppers + jalapenoes. Put ketchup or garlic and chilli sauce on to taste.
