Sixth Sense had me in shock. I never saw it coming, but it was there all the time.

ESB shocked everybody. That's why those 5 words have become infamous

Unbreakable... never saw it coming

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

The ending of Monty Python and The Holy Grail was definately a WTF moment. Donnie Darko just annoyed me. The Usual Suspects i saw comming because i saw Scary Movie the week before.

Most of the greats have been mentioned, but I'll reaffirm them anyways.

Arlington Road has an awesome ending; it's always so nice to see the bad guys win for a change. It makes it so much more realistic, especially with this movie.

The Usual Suspects has a classic twist ending. 'Nuff said.

Unbreakable, as mentioned before, is great.

Though it isn't really a twist ending, when I first saw TESB and the credits rolled, I literally jumped up and yelled, "NO! YOU CAN'T END A MOVIE LIKE THAT!" I was so into the movie, that I didn't see the ending coming, I expected them to go and rescue Han in a LOTR-esque multi-hour epic. I was pissed because we had rented the movie, and had to go back to the video store to get ROTJ. On the upside, I've never been as pumped up to see a movie than when I first saw ROTJ.

Another one that isn't really a twist, but is still a bit of a surprise and a great ending is Eyes Wide Shut. That's got to be one of the great endings of all time.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

I'd say the newest Planet of the Apes. I was expecting something that made sense.

Yeah, the Tim Burton Planet of the Apes had a fucked up ending.

Shadow of a Doubt had a weird way of resolving the plot, too.

Planet Of The Apes. The Original. If there's one ending I'll never forget, it's either that one or "The Empire Strikes Back".

The end of the original Planet of the Apes was a mindfuck. And that Bruce Willis movie with the ghosts...can't remember it's name at the moment.

It's been mentioned 80 times.

My favorite twisted ending is in Use of Weapons, but that thankfully is not a movie.

I certainly wasn't expecting the ending to Life of Brian.

Unbreakable. One of my favorite movies.

High Plains Drifter. In retrospect, I should have seen it coming, but it took me by surprise the first time I saw it.
