It is either a big fake, or a nicely performed stunt. Either way, the ghost is a fake.

Ghosts are cool. I would really like to believe in them, but the whole concept makes no logical sense. What is projecting the image of a long dead person? How is it manifested? Light waves, what? What conciousness directs these apparitions? How do these opaque beings manipulate physical objects? You'd have to believe in bodiless souls and all kinds of magic to even begin trying to explain ghosts.
