I know that LimWire works on OS 9. Also, there is an Aimster client available for OS 9. I know Open Nap is available for X, maybe 9. Try those on for size.

I tried limwire, but it suxors. Can't get 1 solid connect, when requesting transfers. Pisses me off. These network suck ass. You woukld think its rocket science by tghe poor operations of these netowrks. I am almost tempted to wrtie my own program for the mac, but I have that distribution problem, and time problem...
