Howard Stern. Love him or hate Him?

Post by THEHOOLIGANJEDI »

Well I like him a lot for being innovative, His sense of Humor (I love PI stereotypical jokes),and some of his opinions, but I can't stand some of his other opinions and his ignorance. He's more fun to listen to though because I Like him and I dislike him at the same time.

He's ignorant and arrogant; a nasty combination. However, he is also brutally honest, which is a virtue, even if his honesty only leads him to reveal more of his ignorant opinions.

I liked him better when he was married to his first wife. He seemed like a normal guy because he was still tied (at least in part) to the life he had before he was famous. Now, he's just another rich asshole with a big mouth, an attitude, a fat contract, and a supermodel on his arm.

He's lost alot of his former charm and he's actually less funny than he has ever been. Part of it is because he lost Jackie martling who depsite his annoying persona on the show was obviously one of the funniest guys on the show behind the scenes. Alot of those lines and skits were Jackie's idea or he had some input. Now it all seems so tired. I used to be a HUGE Howard fan but now I find him trite and repetative. How often are naked chicks on radio going to be funny? He's got the same tired jokes and the same attitude, but Wong is right, ever since his divorce he's become a pretentious little shit, exactly what he used to make fun of.

I actually saw him in person and he is one ugly SOB, his girlfriend was with him and there was NO DOUBT why she was with him. Pretty sad, considering that kind of relationship is what he used to make fun of.

Opie and Anthony, now THAT was some funny shit. Too bad they're off the air now

I've got to agree with that. He's lost what little appeal he had before. Now he's just another misbehaving shock jock looking to rile up someone or other.

What this poll needs, is an "I don't give a damn option".

Although, I still love the time he forced three PETA girls into a topless, lesbian make out session to save a lobster from being executed. Very funny.

Yeah, but before he used to be an entertaining jackass. Now he's been degraded to just plain jackass.

He has a really big nose.

He's quite crude, but kind of funny. I haven't seen his show much, though.

I am amused by him, but I rarely listen to his show anymore.

Love Howard. I've been listening to himsince he came to L.A. in '91. He is the most underrated comic in a decade.

He show has been getting stale since Jackie left. But I laughed my ass off over Fred Norris' Nicole Bass/ Herman Munster impersonation on Wednesday!

I used to listen to his show when I had time to listen to it before I had class in the morning. I'll never forget all those "underground" Maria Carey tapes he played on the air. :D That one where the ripped off Shania Twain (whom I can't STAND to hear sing) actually gave me nightmares. :D I'm serious! It was short, but long enough to make me wake up and want to yell out WTF?!
