Concept vehicles are the cockteases of the automotive industry. Concepts invaraibly look cooler, have really neat cutting-edge technology and futuristic control setups. So, needless to say, whenever I see something like the Toyota POD or the various ubercars that Chrysler has been taunting us with for years, I always want them. And they always fail to become reality. Pisses me right off.

i hate and yet love concept cars at the same time. love them because they're cool as fuck and hate them because like lagmonster said our chances of seeing them on the public market are next to nil.

No, for the simple fact Bombardier are the fuckers trying to rob my dad blind. My dad works for the Bombardier Aerospace factory here in Belfast.

So it's similar to the Segway, but doesn't tip you onto the pavement when it runs low on power thanks to the unheard-of revolution of adding wheels that give stablility at low speeds?

Plus it's faster, more comfortable to ride (you get to SIT, what a novel concept), and can actually take you long distances.

I wouldn't. I've had too many auto accidents to drive anything that open.

I'd try that, just for fun.
