When is it time...
to say something about your professor. 1st week, no discussion and no real lecture. 2nd week, same deal. So far the teacher only picks random things out of the book and goes over them for 4 minutes.
Most of the time we---- learn about masturbation,
with a clip from the simpsons.
The rest of the time we talk about religion (blah) aerodynamics, machinegun bullets, and are forced to watch Bill and Ted's excellent adventure.
I am not an expert, but are college professors supposed to do that?

I'd do something about it ASAP if you want to learn, or dont complain and do lots of external work on your own, my atmospheric principles lecturer was no good for my learning style, but I didnt have the time to read the text in the detail required to learn the subject in the required detail so I got a D where I probably deserved a U.
As it happens, this doesnt matter, as it gets converted when I go back and combined with a higher grade to bring it up, but still, should have realised that my lecturer wasnt great in the first place and dropped the course.

I am out of highschool for a year now, and I am in my second semester. Most of my classes have been good except for history. I do not know what those teachers are on. The material is good, just the teachers blow.
1. I have Western Civ Part 2.
2. I go to a community college, but from what I hear from my friends, they got some bad teachers at the 4 years too
.
My first history WC professor was the antithesis to this one. SHe DID a lot of stuff lecuture wise, but always contradicted the book and lied. THis one just does nothing. There seems to be no middleground.
There are other stupid things about college, like the grading system. It really does not seem to reflect anything. One teacher (like mine) for example, has a completely different approach to course material. He picks and choses. Some other professor can give you an entirely different education; the tuition is the same of course![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
I might not be correct, but my counselor said you do not need a teaching degree to teach at college level, whereas you do need one to be a teacher in HS. It just seems like HS level professors are more competent.

It goes like this, i think
Kindergarten
Volkschule
Gymnasium-------------------1. Votech type school
--------or-------- 2. Die Universitaet.
I do not know why people have to pay for Kindergarten. It makes no sense.
Das Abitur is very complicated, however, and it is therefore difficult to pass. Foreign nations, howver, have agreements with the nation so that they do not have to pass the test. So you, as a foreigner, can go there. Germany, however, will not teach you how to become a doctor. (It might have changed)

I should be more specific. Any STATE university is free.

You might be better off transfering to Rutgers starting with maybe a class or two this summer. I realize money may be an issue but in the long run it will be worth the investment.
These may be a useful links for you to consider whether or not to continue at Burlington if you are intending to get your bachelor at a NJ college. They allow you to check course/program equivalency for
Rutgers University
and
Most other NJ colleges

Whatever you want;
At whichever university you want;
For however long you want;
How ever often you want to change.
For free apart of some peripheral charges totalling 200$-300$ a year max. There will be charges introduced for long time students in the near future however.
