God, this was a really boring match. Both sides utterly suck at completing high and long passes. A deserved draw, but the Portuguese sucked even worse. Portugal didn't even seem to know whose job it is to run into which direction and their goalie seemed utterly oblivious to the concept of angles. Not that the US goalie was much better ("You mean, I can catch a ball? Naaaaaah. Better fist it away").

If we lose against the USA heads will roll. A loss to that kind of team would be utterly unacceptable.

However, Germany is almost guaranteed to go through now, unless Ghana/Portugal wins with 5+:0 and we lose to the USA with 0:4.

The Italians are not going to be happy tonight, given that the goal that knocked them out came from a corner given whilst half their players were arguing with the referee about Suarez attempting to eat one of their defenders.

It's pretty clear that should have been a stoppage and a red card for Suarez, rather than a corner given to Uruguay.
