Be proud of yourself because listening is actually harder than one thinks. Because you have to, for a tiem, take the weight of the raw emotions that the other person can't handle. It isn't easy and it gets less praise than it should. I wish the best to you and your friend, if there are any words of encouragement I could offer I'd throw them out now but I used most of them up back on page 3 of the thread.

Sometimes a little time to rest, relax, and re-examine things once people are aware of a problem cna help you get through things better. Its a tough process though so bet on having to be that shoulder a few more times.

Sounds somewhat like me and guys. Looka t the body. Face must NOT be hideous. Then get them to smile (straight white teeth with sharp canines are droolable). Look at the body (again). Make decision, unless they decide to ask me out. But most of the time, they ask me out. I have confrontation issues.

Neither did I. She strolled up to me, looked me over, licked her lips, and said, "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?"
