Incidentally, of course there are geeky girls. Look at Hoshi on Enterprise.

In real life, my fiancee is a geek. She has lots of boring friends who are also geeks.

Ironically, my wife *isn't* a geek. It's hard, you know. She hasn't seen Star Wars Ep.II yet because, quote, "It's probably more of that silly lightsabre stuff."

And she wonder why I sometimes wake up screaming.

I don't think it's so much a lack of geek girls, as a lack of Sci-Fi chicks.

My boyfriend has only known two Sci-Fi chicks in his life, myself included. The other one happens to be my best friend, who he went to primary school with, lost touch with because they went to different schools during high school and then got in touch with again because he ended up playing D&D with me.

She reads fantasy now, and rarely touches Sci-Fi.
