A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More

I just saw that on USA. It was only funny because half of Jay's lines were dubbed over by a different actor and I heard a lot of "Holy Snot"s and "Airhead"s. I hate censorship. I'll have to rent the DVD. Snooch to tha booch!

Stalker

Post by C.S.Strowbridge »

Just watched this one yesterday. It's three hours long and movies quite slowly, but I was very interested the whole time. It's based on a short story where something struck the Earth creating Zones where the laws of the universe break down. And at the centre of each Zone there's an object that can grant your inner most desires.

Unfortunately, it was made on a very small budget, so they couldn't show much.

Damn double post. Could the mod kill one.

Bowling for Columbine.

Best fucking movie of 2002. Seriously it's one of the better movies I've ever seen.

It's a documentry about gun violence, but the director isn't trying to show that guns are the problem, as proven by Canada's gun numbers and drasticly low gun related violence. With some awsome interviews. I was laughing my ass off one second, scared another, and then sadden the next, it was a awsome fucking movie.

BfC had some problems with facts, but the message stands.
Strowbridge, find a video or DVD of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it is the funniest fucking movie ever!

Also the movie version of the book Matilda is good. It's hilarious and DeVito is brilliant. (As always)

Still the best two movies overall that I've ever personally seen. Everything else, even if excellent, is down a notch.

How could anyone recommend the Godfather Trilogy? Sure, the first was great. That's almost undebatable. The second's greatness is pbly a little more debatable, but that's still saying it's great.

But the THIRD one... a steaming runny puddle of monkey pus and dog vomit. Worst movie EVER! Nepotism run amok.
I have being given A's for depleting Dragon ball Z the way it should be.

Silent: The General (Buster Keaton), Southern Railroad Engineer must save his beloved train from BOTH North and South, and get the girl, etc.

Black and White:
The Great Dictator (Charles Chaplin), "The little tramp" tears Hitler a new one.

There have been some others since these two, (Ok many, but these are like the gems folks...)
