Depends. What OS are you running? Win9x/ME, Win2k, or WinXP? I had problems like that when I was running IE 5.5 on WinME, when my system finally started going into the terminal phase of Windows rot. Then I finally upgraded to Win2k and IE 6.0. Currently I am very happy.verilon wrote:Okay, my IE is fubar... time to reboot computer? Every time I try to do certain things on SD it fucks up the IE and closes one or more of my windows, including the one with SD on it, and I can't log in on AOL for some reason. Other thing is, it marks EVERYTHING read, which gets really annoying? How do I fix both these problems? (ie, the IE quitting on me, and the marking everything read)
[EDIT] It marks everything read everytime I close browser manually, as well, on this computer.

That'll do it. IE5 is junk. It's slow and unreliable. You've got the horsepower, go up to IE6.verilon wrote:5.0 I think.. And it's running on a 56K and a Pentium 4.
