I hated XXX.
XXX.... is that a new porno? :P

I hated XXX too. Maybe it's Vin Diesel. Maybe it's because even though it had lots of 'action', it was still boring as hell.
How can you not like XXX? I thought it was funny as hell. Especially the diner scene. :D

because some of us enjoy things such as plot, dialogue, and decent characters. I think XXX was for the people who think Bond movies dont have enough explosions and too much talking.

I don't know about Best Picture for Episode II (I liked TTT better), but it certainly deserves the award for Best Visual Effects and Best Score and maybe Best Sound.

Actually, that's a lie. I watch the MTV Movie Awards whenever a Star Wars movie is released so I get to see their spoofs and such. :D

I'd like to see TTT get some recognition the way FotR didn't, though I liked TTT less than FotR myself. It'd also be nice if Aki Kaurismäki's The Man Without a Past would get the best foreign film Oscar, but then again, that's just me cheering for a Finnish film (the first Finnish Oscar nomination ever too). I've not actually seen it, or any of the other foreign film nominees either, so I don't know how good it is, but it has gotten a very good response all over Europe and afaik in the US as well.

The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan was clearly the best movie of the season, it had it all, plot, a cool gadget, Jeniffer Love Hewitt, and an odd villain.

I rest my case.

HURRAH! Finally, someone else who thought FotR was better! It's nice to know I'm not alone in my opinion.

I thought xXx was a hyped up pile of crap personally, though yes the dinner scene was amusing. In this months TOTAL FILM (Uk Film Mag) there was a poll asking if Vin Diesel was the next Schwarzenegger or Jean Claude Van Dam. He came up Van Dam. Enough said. Although I think the only one of Vin's movies I liked is PITCH BLACK.

Amen to that one, I thought Bowling for Columbine was one of the best films/documentries I've seen in a llloooonnnnggg time. And that whole 'scared white people' cartoon with the silver bullet just made me laugh my arse off!

Ice Age sure as hell better not. Not when it's going up against Spirited Away.

I want to know who made that cartoon orignally... so I can download it and have it forever. :)

Oh, and about the "Best Animated Feature"... do you think they would do that thing they did last year, with the characters sitting in the crowd? If so... how in the world would they pull it off with the 'Spirited Away' and 'Ice Age' characters?
