Drugs: Have YOU done them?

Nothing illegal as yet, probably will try weed at some time, especially as my state has nice liberal laws regarding it (by Australian standards that is not European). I smoke cigars occasionally, never cigarettes. Drink alcohol as often as I can and have a fairly high caffeine habit thanks to being a student.

thanks to being an overworked student my alcohol consume went down.
hangovers = evil when you have to work the next day. that´s why i smoke more weed now instead of drinking.

I smoke cigarettes, cigars when I can get my hands on some good ones and have a reason to celebrate.

Alcohol is my friend. Beer (Labat Blue or Miller Genuine Draft), wine (I just disocvered $18 bottles of something with a French label is usually pretty good), vodka, tequilla, SoCo, rum, JD.

Weed not so much here, but when I go to New York (where the penalty for simple possession is a citation, like a traffic ticket).

I stay away from perscriptions mostly, though I'm not above taking a swig of coedine based cough syrup from time to time. Never done anything harder than weed, though I'd be willing to try E or shrooms.

Caffeine...hmm...once I sat in a diner for four hours and sucked down two and a half pots of black coffee. Not only did I massively abuse the "bottomless cup" policy, I also couldn't sit down until five the next morning.

I drink only once in a great while (usually being the DD and the one in my group least interested in drinking), and have never smoked or done any other type of drugs. I have asthma, so smoking would kill me faster than it kills the regular smoker. Since I'm not quite ready to die yet, I don't smoke.

So, no drugs for me, unless you count the chocolate-covered espresso/coffee beans of which Ando spoke. Mmmmmmmmm.

Hmm, alcohol occasionally, pot, coke, crack, Ex, and crystal. But I do the shit like once a year or so, I'm lucky, don't have an addictive personality.

You know what's annoying about alcohol? Your willpower and resistive strength go to zero after the first hit! That's what my roommates like to do: ask me to drink one beer or a shot'O Whiskey/Gin/Vodka, watch my shields pop, then start machinegunning shot after Shot after SHOT into me, ripping me to shreds! Hmm methinks Beer:Me::Ion Bolt:Star Destroyer. Great willpower and resistance to normal attacks, but one beer/Ion Cannon shot and it's Game Over....

My bf banned alcohol from the house so I don't hafta worry about any more trouble with that. Honestly, I don't miss it. I have the (unfortunate) gift of having an extremely alcohol-resistant memory, so I'm able to remember the horrors of the previous night. Good thing I'm also quite resistant to hangovers too. Ui..

I dont think there is anything wrong with you. I have not had a beer in so long I dont remember when my last one was. I drink other alcoholic beverages now and then. Frankly, most of the beer I have ever tried tasted horrible, so you are not missing anything.

Do you get teased by people in your unit for not drinking beer?

I rather like the taste of some beers, it is an acquired taste though. I do not however like the taste of Fosters it is one of the worst Aussie beers.

Never tried anything illegal and never plan too, all the good times I need can be found in the company of friends.

Legal stuff however....

Caffine is something I use regularly, some have even gone as far as to call me an addict...personally I just like staying awake.

Alcohol....eh. After Christmas, (Which was round at Keevan's. Shot for shot with the iron man o scotland is a baaaaaaaaad idea.) I decided to ban myself from alcohol, so far after two months...I've not touched any.

Smoking...one word: Eugh!

I've done weed twice. The first time it was at the beach, it really didn't affect me (maybe I did it wrong, or maybe it's cumulative), the second time was a blast. I still don't know what the fuck was I laughing about.

I really don't see why is it illegal. From all the sources I've checked, there are no permanent effects (unlike tobacco), and the "makes you look for stronger, dangerous stuff" is crap. If anything, just the fact that it's illegal makes the weed smoker have to seek some of the less desirable elements of our society to be able to smoke it (and THAT could cause him to get other dangerous vices).

If anything, prolongued use can make you stupid, but we're talking about getting high at the expense of doing anything else (like getting smarter), not a chemical effect. Stupid TV programming can do the same.
