Ooops , I took you a bit too literally. I can certainly see your point now. That is a bit creepy when you consider it's a Walmart and not a gun store. Of course, Walmart always gives me the creeps, guns or no guns.Pendragon wrote:Ok so it was the guns in the gunracks that bothered me, not the racks themselves. You see, in lil' ol' backwards sweden we dont see a lot of guns. Basically only cops have them. So to see rack upon rack of them displayed in the supermarket was more than a tad bit weird...Tsyroc wrote:Pendragon wrote:Minnesota....
The Gun racks at walmart sorta put me off...
Ah, but in Minnesota there are lots of deer and various types of birds to be shot by hunters. It's possible that the hunters could use the same gun for everything but where's the fun in that. Multiple guns means you need a place to store them (gun rack), although these days the smart and responsible gun enthusiast has a gun safe to lock his/her guns in. It's much better if there are children who might be around and it makes it difficult for the guns to be stolen as well.

Bah. Whenever I go outside of Montgomery County, MD, the groceryTsyroc wrote: Ooops , I took you a bit too literally. I can certainly see your point now. That is a bit creepy when you consider it's a Walmart and not a gun store. Of course, Walmart always gives me the creeps, guns or no guns.
stores creep me out.
See, in Montgomery County, MD the county government has controlled
the liquor business since the 70s. You want booze, you gotta go to
a county-run store. It's all bullshit.
So I always end up shocked when I leave the county and find entire
fucking aisles in the supermarket devoted to BOOZE.
