Funny stuff at my school (Iraq related)

Yeah, at uni there is a protest with the slogan: "Books not bombs..."

But again, they are skipping classes to protest.

Thats my big problem, I'm on the left of the political spectrum. Unfortunately, most of the people with me at this end are complete morons.

I've been the Berkley once before after living a life time in San Francisco and it is NOT a pretty site.

Let me tell you all of you alien to the San Francisco Bay Area, in terms of how much more extreme berkely is than the rest of the area

Yup, Berkeley is a far cry from other parts of the Bay Area. Berkeley attracts its fair share of super weirdos. Folks to like to say simple crap like "housing is a right!" without any thought to who is actually supposed to provide that housing.

Oh My God.....

You're never going to believe this! I just found out that my school is going to LET the anti-war students go to this "strike" with absolutely NO reprecussions. All they need is a note from their parents telling the school that they're going to be going to this protest and they're off scott free!!!
