There's a twisted thought. Course, you could never prove a force-adept was bad at *it*.

Well, it's quite simple.

You see there are three things I want out of this life:

Power.
Knowledge.
Sex.

In that order.

Power: I'm the editor-in-chief of a college newspaper. Does that count? I mean, nobody better fuck with me, or I'll print a scathing editorial about them or publish their credit record or something.

Knowledge: I know lots of things about dinosaurs. And the Civil War.

Sex: I can rock your world, for up to five minutes at a time. And I'm not half so ugly as Palpy.

Yeah, but Palpy's in charge of a whole galaxy. Much more alluring. Plus, I'm already co-editor of the Sci-Fi club's newsletter.
Knowledge: I know lots of things about dinosaurs. And the Civil War.
I already know lots about dinosaurs. Not much about the civil war, but I know a bit about the wars of the roses, and I have an informed, if slightly controversial view on Tibet. And Palpy knows about the Force.
Sex: I can rock your world, for up to five minutes at a time. And I'm not half so ugly as Palpy.
My boyfirend is actually rather good in bed. :) :) :) And I can imagine Palpy being rather good too. I just bet that he used the force to keep his vitals in good shape. After all, wouldn't you?

So... thanks for the offer, but I think I'll stick with Palpy for the moment. Not for the last two reasons, really, but the POWER..... ooooh...... I think I'll just sit here and think about it for a while... ooohh.....oooohhh...

No harm in that. And if you ever become dictator, just let me know, and I'll come over and marry you. I've pretty much accepted by now that I can't marry Palpy, so....

And after all, Power beats Sex any day of the week.

This applies to all you hopeful males out there.

Would it matter if I were a really evil and brutal one? I've been known to convert citizens into tax collectors and starve cities in disorder into submission in Civ II and III. I've often complained I can't shell/bomb/nuke my own cities.

God, don't teach me wife that. She'll lose the only motivation she has to keep me.

Nope. Just as long as I was allowed to share in your power and glory.

Yes she is. She's into power, not looks, which means all I have to do is conquer a largish nation-state or three and she's all mine. It would help if I were a Sith, but I've been trying to force choke my enemies since 8th grade, and I've just come to accept it's not happening.

By the way, Lusankya, in regards to the Middle East: why would you want it?

Oil mainly, and noone would care if you slaughtered the inhabitants.

Whatever floats your boat. I was planning on using it for radioactive waste storage, though.

Why don't you make it the sequel to your dictatorship? Perhaps you can relocate all the Fundamentalists there, and then sotr the radioactive waste. No, that would make giant superfundies with the power to convert an entire city!

Though if I couldn't get the middle east for some reason, I'd build nuclear power plants everywhere and make ev eryone drive around in little electronic doowops (or perhaps in cars that run on H2).

That way I wouldn't have to worry about preserving the middle east, and then I could just nuke it if it ever started to be a nuisance.
