BLAH! You crackers have no idea how to cook ramen properly, do you?!! Depending on how many packs of ramen you throw in, fill your pot with water. PRE-BOIL before putting it in. Put your concentrated sauce WHILE cooking. Add a few drops of your favorite hot sauce (one or two drops of Dave's Insanity Private Reserve will do the trick). Then put into bowl, break out the KIM-CHI (very important), grab a beer and enjoy!Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I usually drain about 2/3 of the water after boiling before adding the flavouring, then drain about 90% of the remaining water before dumping it into a bowl. And I eat it with chopsticks, of course.
Hey, speaking of which, I better go see if I have any. I'm fucking starved...
EDIT: Shit, I only have one pack of the Oriental flavour, and I can't remember if I like that or not.
I knew I should have gone through the express line this morning...
What do you like to eat?

Ah, medium rare is for people afraid to make that final step into the world of still mooing steak.Exonerate wrote:4. Medium rare is best... Not too rubbery, not too hard with enough flavor.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Oh, how could I have forgotten eggs!
Fried, scrambled, omlet (ham and cheese) and (especially) boilled.
TTSD: I do pre-boil the water before cooking, and I prefer it straight with just flavouring. I don't like hot things except for those Japanese curried beef and rice dishes, and putting curry powder on stuff.

I thought Ramen was imitation Udon noodles?
Anyhoo, I like:
Shellfish
Fish
Duck
Chicken
Turkey
Pork-tastes exactly like human flesh, I've heard.
Beef
For veggies:
Spinach
Brocoli
Carrotts
Beans-as in dried, ala Black Bean soup etc, etc.
Peas
And of course, what human doesn't like pasta in at least one of it's infinate incarnations?

I ate a ramen earlier tonight and I can still feel the salty taste. Although, that may be because I overdid it on the flavoring a little bit.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Really?

Hmm, must be because I pour out the flavouring with the rest of the water when it's done cooking. I just let it soak with the noodles for about a minute or two so they get the flavouring.

Sushi is great. I also like Chinese BBQ pork (chàshào) and pizza.

Ah, I don't really eat out much (too poor), I'm mostly interested in what I can churn out with my trusty microwave.

Hehe, then I wouldn't be able to pretend to spend my nights studying while screwing around on the internet. I'm good enough with saving and my parents still help me out, I don't really need a job at the moment.Trytostaydead wrote:Stop spending so much time on the board and get another job!!Durran Korr wrote:Ah, I don't really eat out much (too poor), I'm mostly interested in what I can churn out with my trusty microwave.

Curry an odd mix of spicy and sweet with a tang of something basically chalked up to extra.
Decent stuff.
Thing of it as medley sauce of onions mixed with pepper and some paprika.
Basic curry...mixed in with a heavy does of some brown gravy sauce.

Heh, I don't eat out much because I don't like to eat in public. It makes me very uncomfortable.

That and eating out costs an arm and a leg for usually crappy food.
You have to eat out quite a bit at times to find a decent place...providing of course there is one.
Well DC is great in variety...then again the drainage on the wallet is quite a bit up there.
