I don't think I comprehend this at all... is Mellian advocating some sort of 'multiple solipsism' (and isn't that a contradiction in terms)? Or is my mistake in presuming there is something coherent there to be understood in the first place?

Presuming there is something coherent is the mistake...literally I'm amazed this person isn't against his or her own self.

As for the whole SSG...what amazes me if after 3 years he still adheres to his nonsense, it's like a tether because the instant he gives it up, he realizes how wrong he's been all these years, and he won't accept he was ever wrong.

Sounds like someone who found the truth to the universe in the bottom of a bong. That, or she is being purposefully contrary. This could have a few possible goals, most likely being a "test", to show how everyone relied on faulty logic or less-than-perfect arguments to debate her (thus leading to personal validation), or just to stir up shit.

I have one standard test for people like this who believe that they can change their reality by what they believe. Go to the top of a very tall building and jump off, while completely naked. If you can fly away or float to safety, you're right. If you splatter, you're wrong.

Funny how none of them ever seem to want to take this test, even when the stakes are much lower.

Although I think it's all bullshit, it could be argued that the splattering was caused by the vast majority of people "believing" that jumping off of high places makes you splatter, and that that majority overrides the beliefs of a few individuals.
