It depends on how you look at camping. My partner and I own half of a lake cabin. Dad signed it over to us in an effort to save it during his divorce. (It worked! LOL). We go to the lake pretty nearly every weekend during the summer months. Although Matt and I stay in the bedroom, many of our friends bring tents, build a fire and go the entire route.

As for hiking into the wilderness and going camping in the right way, I haven’t done that for a long time but would like to.

Yeah, I do in the summer.

Last time I went we got nailed with a thunderstorm and dime-sized hail. :P For some reason, I felt like Sid off of Ice Age.

I go camping a couple of times a year, usually over the weekend. I've been on a few backpacking trips, and I kind of enjoy them.

Ah, this year my kids are old enough, my afairs (not marital :?) are in order, an to the hills I go. No RV's, no microwaves, and few people.

Got to teach the kiddies some skills, plus I miss the country and the hiking. Perhaps getting my fat ass out there will also help me lose a couple pounds. My wifes family owns some choice property in central UT and I plan to go down there on Memorial Day and blast some caps, play with the crossbow, and walk around and enjoy myself for a few days. :D

Can't wait.....

Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red
