As much as i dislike the fella for his comments on gay people etc i admire his ability to rap with passion. John Lennon talked about his songs in the Docu-Movie Imagine, he said they where personaly to him and about him only. Eminem does the same. The fact that like Lennon his feelings are shared by so many people is a good thing.

Well, it's a lot of effort, but I've found it worth while.

He won an Oscar for best original song. That has to count for something, even in this day and age.

That said, I do find that some of his songs are rather entertaining. The lyrics are certainly more original than most rap.

Namely: music quality has gone down the drain so mediocre stuff sounds like Ray Charles.
