*wonders how this all got to be about relationships and how to attract women*

Hm... Ah well.

I'm not "lusting" after her in any real sense (sure, I'd probably have sex with her, given the chance, but I'm not sitting here panting about her, either), nor am I sitting here trying to bust my ass to get a date.

She and I were talking over IM, and she said she was gonna take a shower. A few tidbits back and forth later, then she said the "wanna take it with me" and the "you got 3 minutes" bit.

It was a cocktease, plain and simple. Knowing her, I'm not too surprised.

I just felt like sharing was all.

Though I'm still gonna show up at her house next time (if there IS one...I doubt she'll do the same thing twice) and see what she says/does. :D

That's not a cocktease, that's a joke!

You heard of them?

Blimey, if that was supposed to be taken seriously, then all you guys who keep coming on to me across the Atlantic are in serious trouble.

You have to know her better, I guess. If I had made it in three minutes, she most very likely would've let me in there too. But she knew I could never make it.

Jokes? I remember something along those lines from way back...

Hm... That's problematic. For them. I never came on to you. At least so far as I remember.

Yeah, maybe. I guess I overeacted, sorry, but still, I wouldn't like being called a cocktease for flirting with someone over the safety of IM

Well, since I know her in RL, and have her home phone, cell phone, and, uh, bedroom phone numbers, and know where she lives and all, and have been at her house... It's not like you saying anything to me over here, or vice versa. :)

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

For once, RI, try thinking with your brain instead of your penis. You'll end up a lot less angry and bitter about stuff. :P

I for one agree with the concensus that she was just flirting (and maybe teasing or joking) with you and not trying to cocktease you...

Geez, you people are harsh.

Maybe you think of cocktease differently, but it's not that bad to me.

Worse than a joke, but not a horrible, evil thing.

Anyway, you gotta know the history of it all. Then you'd see it differently I guess. But trust me, she doesn't flirt with me. Not in the usual sense.

I just know her better than the rest of you I guess.

Forgive me for ever bringing it up...

Anyway, this fem I know says she's taking a shower. She then asks if I would like to join her. Not getting very many chances like this, I say yes. So, after a fairly lengthy pause, she says I have three minutes to get there, and if I can't make it by then, too bad.

The problem being, she lives pretty far away. For this who live around here, she's up around New Tampa, just off Bearss, and I'm in Temple Terrace, off Busch and 56th. There is no fucking way I can get there in three minutes. And she knows damn well there's no way I could. It was a deliberate cocktease.

Grrrrr...

I would have asked her how she could be taking a shower AND on the phone (or the computer).

:( What did I do? I just happened to be sitting there when she did it to me, and reported it.

It's not like I ran out of my house, hopped in my car, and violated 52 traffic laws to get there...
