What's so difficult about those? I'm not going to take up fglakin's offer of trying to learn Russian or Tolya's invitation to learn Polish just to see which one is more difficult, but if anyone here wants to try and learn Finnish, be my guests...

Seriously, English is relatively easy because of the fixed grammar and very limited conjugations, even though a lot of verbs are irregular. Everything else is always the same, unlike in e.g. Finnish where every noun, adjective numeral, and pronoun has 14 different forms and you can put the words of any sentence in virtually any order whatsoever and it will still mean the same. Only the verbs are easier than in some latin-based languages. Oh, and you can also combine words to create new composite words almost as well as you can in German too.

Ah, Finnish. If it wasn't for the Indo-Europeans, all of Europe would have been speaking that.
