Eight Little Piggies and I have Landed both by Steven Jay Gould.
Finding Darwin's God by Ken Miller
Tower of Babel: The Evidence against the New Creationism by Robert Pennock
Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich

Before that, I read Dinosaur in a Haystack, which prompted me to start reading all of Gould's collections of essays. I've enjoyed Finding Darwin's God the most so far, with any of Gould's books a close second. I've also got checked out about a dozen other books, including Color of Magic, that I haven't started yet. I tend to check out a massive amount of books each month, because 75% of then turn out to not be worth reading.

Knee-jerk response: This thread, duh! Yeah, I know that was bad. I had to. Simply had to

Proper response: "P is for Peril" by Sue Grafton. It's not compelling literature, but eh. It helps me poop.

Just got through reading the Color Purple for summer reading assignment (shudders). Probably going to move onto Dean Koontz's newest book, The Face, or just read some fanfics if I'm too lazy to get to the library.

BTW, I'm reasonably sure that "procrastinative" isn't a word, Agent R.

I recently reread Windhaven, by George R. R. Martin and Lisa Tuttle.

Just finished A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers.

Last night, I started Frontiers of Complexity by Peter Coveney and Roger Highfield. It's a little dated now, but I didn't get around to reading it when it came out.

Same book I was reading in the last thread: Catch 22/

Hey, I've begun reading the paper on the way to work, and I have no time otherwise.

I hate novels, so I never read those.

Aside from electronic reading, I'm reading through The Highly Selective Dictionary for the Extraordinarily Literate by Eugene Ehrlich, trying to do it front-to-back. It's pretty good, but there are some no-brainers in there, and some good ones that are missing.

And on to a medium that matters, the next movie I'm going to watch is Miller's Crossing, for the second time.

Christ, that reminds me, I should re-read that. It's one of the few (maybe five or six) novels that I love.
