Lots of AMVs out there. The AMV I ever saw put End of Evangelion to Pink FLoyd's Comfortably Numb.

Can not think any single greatest music video at the moment. I think I will chose M2M's "Mirror Mirror".
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

Can't say I've seen that, another mention is something I saw on the net of 2 guys from DBZ fighting to the tune of In The End by Linkin Park.
You'll have to go look for it.. it's dark-ish techno, so it's interesting. It'd actually go well with something from Sailor Moon, as crazy as it is to admit.. o.O But it's cool, even though the only words are,

Baby Got Back always makes me laugh. Plus it has those dancers doing some very fast ass shaking. :D

I don't remember. MTV got complaints about the video and started showing it only after 9pm shortly after the video was first released. :)

I just remember the bit with the banana, the one dancer vibrating her ass back and forth and the stuff about the white "cosmo" girl wishing she had some back. :)

Do you remember where you got that? It might be one of my roommate's vids (AFAIK there are three DBZ vids done to that song).

Michael Jackson's Thriller (the entire 15-minute piece; fucking amazing).

Sabotage from the Beastie Boys. Hilarious video.

And of course, Bohemian Rhapsody, the Wayne's World version.

Hmm...tough choice, but i would probably say "freak on a leash" by korn. Either that or "learn to fly" by the foo fighters...funny video.

Freak On A Leash was a masterpiece, but also up there was Tonight Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins and while not a visual masterpiece the video for U2's Where The Streets Have No Name just captured the complete feeling of the song in a way most music videos don't.

Hm....right now a few metallica videos are in my head, Until it Sleeps, Unforgiven 2 (which my rather insane ex decided was "our" song) and Enter Sandman.

Fatboy Slim = "Weapon of Choice"
Alien Ant Farm = "Movies," "Smooth Criminal"(which spoofs all the great Jacko videos)
Missy Elliott = "The Rain," "She's a Bitch," "Hit 'em Wit Da Hee"
Michael Jackson = "Bad," "Thriller"
"Weird" Al Yankovic = "Fat"
Bjork = "All is Full of Love" (the source of my avatar)
Madonna = "Die Another Day" (the song's okay, the video's better)
Eminem = "Without Me"
And the entire Paul Simon "Graceland" concert in Zimbabwe was fucking amazing.

It bears mentioning that I've only been seriously listening to music for about six years, so my video experience is limited.
