Actually I believe that something like gasoline is supposed to work for getting rid of some stains. It might have been kerosene though.Darth Garden Gnome wrote:"He poured a litre of petrol into the rinse chamber in an attempt to fix the colour-run trousers."Darth Yoshi wrote:Why did he do this, again?
Why he thought gasoline would fix his pants, I don't know. It's probably a false alibi though. He really wanted to see something explode. Lucky bastard.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. How stupid do you have to be? Can I get an Amen?

Painters use mineral turps to clean their brushes. Petrol works too, so this guy thought "hey, why should I scrub this like an idiot when my washing machine can do it much better". Like I said, good idea. Blame the machine.neoolong wrote:Actually I believe that something like gasoline is supposed to work for getting rid of some stains. Of course there's a difference; the washing machine is faster! That's why it seems like a great idea. How many people would have suddenly realised that metal against metal spinning at many revolutions per minute would generate sparks? Not many; some ideas reveal their true nature only after they're carried through.phongn wrote:Blame the machine? There's a difference between using an organic solvent to try and scrub your clothes by hand and using a washing machine!

But why are you blaming the machine rather than the stupidity of the person in question?BoredShirtless wrote:Of course there's a difference; the washing machine is faster! No I was just kidding, I don't blame the machine. But I can't be too hard on the guy; like I said, not many people would have connected the spin cycle to sparks.phongn wrote:But why are you blaming the machine rather than the stupidity of the person in question?BoredShirtless wrote:Of course there's a difference; the washing machine is faster! Bah? Bah?! The guy missed a minor detail that, unfortunately for him, cleaned his dishes and also any chance of producing kids with less than 3 heads.phongn wrote:Yes yes, I know, and bah, minor details.Admiral Valdemar wrote:The inner coolant loop.
