Happiest/Saddest moments in your life?

Here's somethin that makes me happy--each day I get to wear a county uniform. Today, I applied for vision and life insurance. Soon, I'll be able to get new glasses paid for by the government. I was able to open a county credit union checking account. I drive a bus, that makes me happy, bec it's like--I mean, it is, I get to borrow someone's shiny, well-maintained, heavy and very large thing-with-the-big-engine that hauls ass on the freeway (and off it). My customers make me happy. Every day I wake up, that makes me happy. When I'm close to Amy, that makes me happy. Going to restaurants and museums, and taking advantage of the things Seattle has to offer, that makes me happy. The fact that I'm through fuckin around, traveling around and being a gypsy, through with my education and now settling down, that all makes me happy. The pride of owning a home makes me happy; even though it'll cost, that $10,000 total replumbing job and taking care of a sinkhole in our yard, those will make me happy. My friends make me happy. The thinking of baby names, that makes me happy. Driving the city streets, or walking around, and seeing the sights, the concrete, the trees, the mountains in the distance; taking in those sights, and smelling the smells of grass and flowers, even of exhaust, all those things make me happy. I don't take anything for granted anymore.
So y'all, if you're sad now, just wait. [edit: snip patronizing remark. I just wanted to say life won't always suck. Things'll get better.]

What a world, what a world! Who would have thought that a little girl could destroy my wickedness?
