How much sleep do you get?

Usually 4-5 on weekdays, 6-7 on weekends.

2-5 hours a night, if that. There have been several nights I simply did not sleep at all. I miss the days of being able to be asleep by 9:30 and awake refreshed at 5:30....*sigh*

Although interestingly, the slight jetlag at the minute has the interesting side effect of meaning that I sleep for 13 hours on day, then sleep for 2 hours the next. Kill...me...

I can't get more than 6-7 hours, or else I'm tired for the rest of the day.

I find that 6 hours is about perfect for me, too. I feel energized throughout the whole day, anymore than 6 hours and I wake up Groggy. Maybe that's just the military conditioning showing through....

I thought the US Army had found out than less than 8 hours of sleep was unhealthy?

The military can't afford to offer its soldiers eight hours of sleep.

Note that by "afford," I mean in terms of preparedness.

Strange. I clearly recall reading a few years ago that the US Army had found less than 8 hours of sleep to be unhealthy.

It doesn't fucking matter if it's unhealthy. The military can't afford to waste so much time by letting their men sleep that long.

6-7 hours during the week... anything up to 12 sometimes more... hours on the weekend... sometimes less... depends how drunk i am friday/saturday night.

Not enough, I need to hibernate for a while now that school's done. I function best when I get 9-10 hours of sleep a night, but lately I've been getting by on 5-7 and I'm zonked out by 2pm.

I try to get 8 or more hours on schoolnights (I get up at 6:00 every morning) except Mondays, where I stay up until pastt 11. On weekends and vacations I always get at least 8 hours of sleep, probably more if I don't have anything really pressing to do that day.

Generally six to seven hours regardless of what day of the week it is. I have become habituated to a standard sort of sleep schedule. Sleeping in on the weekends has lost its allure for mw.

Recently, I've been getting between 3-5 hours of sleep during the week and even less on the weekends. Some due to stress, some due to family obligations, some due to work, some due to partying, and some due to me talking to people waaaaaay too late into the night/early morning when I should be sleeping.

Usually 5-7 hours, i just can't sleep any longer than that. I can't fall asleep any earlier than 1:00AM, I'll just lay there, unable to sleep. I can't get up any later than 7:00, I can't fall back asleep.

i tend to get about six to seven hours of sleep, though sometimes less depending on things. on weekends i'll get around 10-11 hours.

Of course, for the previous 3 years I got about 5-6 hours on weekdays, no more than that.
