SBC: April 14, 2002 - 3,564 5.60 posts per day, And it's all the WH7k threads.... 1500 posts/70 pages each...

SDN: July 4, 2002 - 1861 3.35 posts per day, a little different...

Hidoshi.com: September 13, 2003 - 112 0.94 posts per day, but then again it is 31.37% of total...

Mangled Stare: September 10, 2003 - 100 0.82 posts per day, 17.45% of total (a little better there...)

shoujoai.com: July 5, 2003 - 395

So it's all a matter of what the board is about, and how often I can wedge myself into a discussion.

It's a lot of bother going to a new board, getting to know all the people, finding out where stuff should go and who posts good content-it's just easier to stick around here, not to mention that we have a bettersignal-to-noise ratio anyway.

indeed. i think i like this place so much because it´s not as heavily moderated as most other forums. you can call people an idiot if they´re acting like one whereas at other boards you simply cant tell idiots the truth about them being idiots.

that's easily one of the best parts about this place. you don't have to worry about getting in trouble for insulting someone that genuinely deserves it. and the majority of posters are relatively intelligent.

I used to post all over the place, having a very strong presence at the old forums from www.pvponline.com I also used to be a regular at SB.

But overtime its gotten to the point where I only hang out here and in my LJ community. And those two places I put it down to the higher overall intelligence level makes it so that people get away with far less bullshit in those places then most other places. At SB you get people making off the wall claims and asanine positions that get shredded when the appear here. At PvP it got to the point where it was a matter of routine for a group of people to harass and borderline stalk any females on the boards, where if that was trying here first the girls would hunt them down and castrate them, then they would be banned. It gets to the point where I jsut can't handle most of the crap I see at those places. It makes it hard to go and post at TFN, or SB, or PVP. I have to remind my self daily to check them out or I won't.

Plus we have starcrossed. Must stay for starcrossed. Is there a new chapter up yet?
