But, Jim Carey has actually shown that he can play a serious role. Granted, he prefers the comedic slap-stick comedy, which he is well suited for. But, you have to admit the guy has range.

Yeah, Keanu is cute, but he's like Kevin Costner in his vocal range. He's only got one accent. (Oh, and I did like him in Much Ado, but I still had problems with the damn accent)

Tom... yeah, he's a great actor. You can scream at me all you like, but I though he was a great commedian too. He could at LEAST do one live action comedy every few years.

Robin... I loved him in Dead Poets Society, and I detest that movie because it pissed me off. He has a wide range of acting ability.

robin williams permanently looks like he´s about to cry. he also plays in all these idiotic "cry-movies" such as the one in which he plays this stupid tin man. then thers´s a bunch of simply idiotic movies ala ms. doubtfire and flubber.

i dont like hanks anymore either. i used to like his comedy 80´s movies. but in the last few years he keeps making bullshit like cast away, the green mile and you´ve got mail (shudder).

The only movie I had a real proble with Keanu Reeves' acting was Bram Stoker's Dracula. His accent just didn't work.

The rest of the movies I've seen him in he's been okay. His accent in the Devil's Advocate was a little shakey too.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.

Whoever knocks.

There are just way too many movies where Keanu Reeves' accent doesn't "agree." I even thought his accent sounded incredibly stupid in The Matrix. I can't watch it simply because of that...and every time I forget, I have to turn off the damned thing because I can't get over his goddamned accent!!!

It not his just his voice, it's that he's wooden and as others have mentioned has a 1 Dimensional range. He was way out of his Legue in the Devil's Advocate, although, that was his best performance to date (it was still bad by all accounts). Who in theor right minds would put Al Pacinco and Keanu Reeves together!!! Or Have Him with Winona Ryder in Dracula speaking with a british accent!! Jeez both those actors are way way out of his legue.

"Why Does Keanu Reeves continue to get acting Jobs??"

Because there's still a markt for Ted 'Theodore' Logan.

Fortunate, as this is the only part Reeves is capable of playing.

When Anthony Hopkins was discribing the measures used to slay the vampire Lucy I kept expecting him to say "we cut of hear head, burned it, took out her heart and filled the cavity with garlic and holy wafers, then we ate her liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti."

Hm, interesting. I never thought of that. He DOES say "whoa" in every movie.
