Quite announcing your intentions and just do it if you want. How can we know if we want you to write a fanfic if you've never written one?

Get an original thought ( and I don't just mean for a fanfic) and express it. Otherwise you're nothing but a me-tooer looking for something to agree with.

Maybe it would be best if this thread was locked. Hopefully by now Trekdestroyer has learned to tread more carefully about what he posts when he's a new guy. Of course, everyone should think through what they post before hand, but the new guys with less than 50 posts to their name should be especially vigiliant.

No sense in beating a dead horse, is all I'm saying. And while I am not a moderator, I do think that this beatdownfest has gone on long enough.
