I was looking for a good site that was anti-creationist, and found one. Then I found the board, and the rest, as they say, is a lesbian porno with regular comercials for engineering equipment.

Over on the IGN boards waaaayyyy back in 2000 posted along the lines of "I go over to stardestroyer.net whenever I need a good laugh".

I checked it out.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

A search on some Star Wars related items will still bring this website to the top of the list on Google. Then it was only a matter of time before I dominated the entire forum, single handedly, with my razor sharp wit and stunning good looks.

Got bored one summer day about a year ago, did a google search for tech info on babylon 5. found B5tech, read through it, got board, read through the link page. Clicked on SD.net because it sounded interesting. Read through it, got bored, and decided to look through the forums. gave up on trying to read through everything and decided to join.

I was reading Saxton's site, where I found the link to this site.

I know, no exciting story, but this is the real life.

I was tooling around the net looking at various star wars sites and came across the main site via some other page of in-delth analysis on lightsabres or something. I thought the page was great and kept coming back to read the latest entries of Mike's fanfic (even emailed him once on something and he was perfectly nice to me). That got me reading other SWvsST fanfic and writing my own. When the the board was announced I checked it out but didn't post because it seemed like all the same old SWvsST arguments over again. When the first fanfic was posted I posted mine and the great response I got kept me coming back ever since.

I found SD.net from Brian Young's TL commentaries and B5tech a couple years back. When the board itself started, I waited about a month before joining so I can see what the atmosphere was going to be like.

I was on a forum for the Star Trek Armada RTS from its inception, which basically ran the gamut of every STvsSW discussion (I argued for SW). Mike's site was referenced frequently by many members.

After that forums demise I went to spacebattles.com. When Mike started a forum I moved here right away and never looked back (never much a spacebattles.com fan).

However, by that time I'd discussed about every possible topic, so I mainly hang around the Science and Off Topic forums.

Over five years ago I came across to Curtis Saxton's website, which contained a link to Babylon 5 Technical Manual. From there I found a link to SD.net and started regularily reading Mike's site, mostly because of the "Conquest" fanfic.

I found the site around 1999 or so thanks to a link from Curtis Saxton's site. I found out about the board shortly after it was up thanks to a link from Spacebattles.com

From SWTC I found a link to Wayne's site, which had a Hate Mail Guest Authored by Mike, so I came over. This was sometime back in 98 when Mike was still writing Conquest.

I then signed up on the forums close to when the first appeared, vanished, forgot my password and made a new account, then rememberd my old password and have a sock. Yay! :D

In the aftermath of DS9's conclusion and shortly before the beginning of the NJO, I was just randomly having an idea of Star Trek vs. Star Wars and so just for fun entered it onto google and from there, arrived here. I was instantly hooked on DW's 'Conquest', but I didn't actually visit the board - or seriosuly consider turning my 'Best of Both Worlds' story into a full-fledge epic - until 2003.

A friend of mine and I were discussing Star Trek vs. Star Wars so he decided to do some research, he found this place and referenced it to me. I looked around and liked what I saw so maybe 6 months later when the forum popped up I joined. My friend is around here too but he didn't get addicted like I did.

Back in 2000, I found Mike's link from Dr Saxton's Tech Commentaries. Been addicted to the Canadian bastard ever since.

A friend told me about the STGOD and I signed up just to play that. And while STGOD 4 is still my main stomping grounds, I have ventured into other areas of the forum.

Back in 2000 I was on the Star Wars Galaxies message board, and a SW vs ST argument broke out. Someone posted a link to Poe's site. Went there, read it, laughed my ass off at the hate mail, and then followed a link to here.

Hey, hey! Look at that. I've hit 1000 post. WOOT WOOT for me!

Being a SW and ST junkie, I wondered whether anyone had ever done a sort of comparative literature piece detailing the differences between the two franchises, so I looked for SW vs. ST and here I was.
