As scary as TJ may seem, I don't think he is in the legue of idiocy displayed by some of our Hall of Shame regulars.

TJ was rightly feared in ASVS becouse it was an unmoderated newsgroup. Granted, it means people could KF him, but as a moderated board I think we can deal with him much more easily.

You will notice that these two gits, esp TJ, have been around, spreading thier feaces for longer than SD.Net has been about. TJ was being ignorant and moronic since before the formation of ASVS, lo these many years ago.
We wil always survive, but the nature of life and the internet mean that these two and more like them will always be a threat because Startrek will still get reruns on TV.

We have had these types of troll on ASVS on numerous occations, and they get the same treatment. TJ was scorned, as far I as I can tell, his heyday was before my time on ASVS, and the final solution works very well in a close knit place such as ASVS.
But remember the fact that these twits are out there means that one should not underestimate them, but at the same time, you have to distinguish them from the youzloser types, as you must not be distracted from what is important. TJ types, or rather DS types can and do gather converts to stupidity and trek will be rerun on TV, which is their danger.
As a result TJ types of troll are not easy to ignore and must be confronted in a way that youzlooser types need not be.
Do not underestimate the power of the troll side, but dont overestimate it either.
