AI was "alright" but I thought it could have easily ended much earlier. I mean, I must have almost pushed Stop about four times before the end. I had to wait for the credits just to make sure it really was over.
It could have been a lot sadder if they didn't show the aliens and just left him in the ship by the fairy or eevn when he touched the fairy and it broke, either point seemed a good place to wrap it up.
I can't think of any tear jerkers right now, this movie was sad but I just think they went a little too far.
I Cried at the End of AI...

I know this sounds like a silly movie to almost cry at but Stepmom was really really sad especially when she gave her kids the presents she made them. *sniff sniff*

While I did not cry at any time during AI, I agree that it was an excellent movie.

'Anne of Green Gables'
'Ever After'
'Dead Poets Society'
'The Godfather Part II'
'Philadelphia'
'12 Angry Men'
'It's A Wonderful Life'
when Ed leaves the ship in 'Cowboy Bebop'
Faye at the end and Spike's 'Bang' from 'Cowboy Bebop'
'Amadeus'
'The Fugitive' sometimes
'Circle of Friends'
'Nightmare Before Christmas'
I know there are others, but I'll just leave it at that.

Well, I'll follow in Zaia's footsteps, since I started the thread. Keep in mind that this is for both being emotionally or visually overwhemed. Spoilers may follow.
Film that I cry/tear up during:
A.I. - Last 10-15 minutes.
Metropolis - I think when "I Can't Stop Loving You" starts, and the ending.
The Abyss Special Edition - Lindsey's ressurection, Bud's decent (when Lindsey is talking to him, particularly the "candle in the dark" segment), Lindsey pleads for Bud not to stay down, and when the NTI's show Bud the text he wrote to Lindsey.
Grave of the Fireflies - Ending. Saddest movie ever.
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Boromir's death. But I get a little choked up when Gandalf stands off against the Balrog.
The End of Evangelion - Eva 02/Asuka killed, The Tree of Life appears in the sky, the Trees are combined, "Komm, suesser Tod", Chamber of Gaf is opened, the souls fly off the surface of the Earth sprouting crosses with screams of absolute exstacy, Eva 01 floats away, etc... This is all more choking up, though.
Akira - At the end, when the little ball of light floats into Kaneda's hands, and shines as he closes them.
Princess Mononoke - When the Forest God is first shot, and then killed, and when his head is returned.
Terminator 2 Special Edition - When the Terminator kills himself at the end.
Tenchi Muyo in Love - The ending, right before the credits start.
The Iron Ginat - When the Giant transforms to his weapon form, aims at Hogarth, recognises him and turns to normal, his decision to and actual sacrifice. This is absolutely guarenteed to make me cry, and even thinking about most of these parts will cause me to choke and tear up.
Ah! Megami-sama: the Movie - Ending.
That's all I can think of right now. Hope you liked looking so deep into my mind.
