I stormed the fortress with Dice and Chuck. I picked Dice and equipped him with the Turbolaser calcs... the damage he dealt was ludicrous. He always got criticals on non-boss enemies, generally dealing 999 damage per hit. When I ran into defending groups, it was just a question of "Who do I want to die first?"

Too bad Ka'nadi loved to hit him with everything he could muster. Dice was dealing 350+ damage per whack, but he could never keep it up.

Whats with all the Castlevania music?

Also missing out on ASVS completely I've only been able to spot one troll out, XIJax, in the cantina.

I think Doomriser just liked the feel of it, and it was one of those rare themes that translated well to MIDI.

In the Cantina, look out for Isil'zha, Hamlin (the Janeway guy, IIRC), Deimos Anomaly, E1701, and Laird (I think).

To be honest, there are a lot of ASVS in-jokes, but the sequel will deal very heavily with Spacebattles (and the plot is VERY good, from what I've seen).

The prequel is something nobody will get unless they're ASVSers through and through, or at least have read the histories.

There might potentially be some SD.net in-jokes as well. These forums already have a rich history

Played it for a little while this morning, TJ kicked my ass, so I got my guys up to 25(except that bastard Dalton, he's 5 levels behind everyone else) And utterly kicked his ass with Photon Torps and Eclipse threads. Snag the logic shell too, but I'm stuck in the Tower of Saxton, whats the combo?

You can find the combo in the library of Teefen.

Beat the game, finaly boss wasn't hard, used Newbie, Dicew/TLcalcs, the healer guy, and of course wong.

He couldn't stand up the 1E38 and smackdowns after he was hate mailed, I think all he did to me was put Dice and the healer guy to sleep, and 34 damage to wong.
