By the way, I forgot to mention: Spanky is right about Furries. The vast majority of it has nothing to do with actually getting one's freak-on and it's an extremely geeky niche of geekdom.
Id' say easily about 90% of non-casual uses of Furries is either:
1) Furry scifi fanfics, where the crew are all animals (like Captain Kirk is an ocelot or some shit), and nothing else is changed.
2) Rescue Rangers' Gadget porn. I'm serrious.
There's not much else in between, unless you count knockoffs of Sabrina Online.
