Getting back to the land of Redwood Trees and rain. After living in Humboldt County for six years, how did George bribe "Mother Nature" for a couple of weeks with clear weather to shot RTOJ?

Better question how did he get the Arcata PD to run the Dead Heads out of the park before he started shooting the Endor scenes?
