Alec has never been well to do. His dad (a semi-wealthy french-descended businessman) left his mother (a small time voodoo women) and she worked herself to death more or less by the time he was in his early teens. He's gotten by, just barely. He's a con man who likes ripping off his fellow petty criminals; he's been roughed up a few times but so far stayed ahead of the truly vindictive ones. He's was 27 in 1925.

His love life has been one disaster after another. He tends to go for classy women, usually spoiled and monied. It inevitably ends badly. Usually with daddy trying have his legs broken.

He picked up a bit of the occult from his mother and hung around the voodoo crowd. Basically that's where he learned about vampires and hatched his plan. He decided to get himself sired. He eventually met Anna Bruck in a bar. They fell for each other and the next night he was a newborn Vampire.

Lets see... My character is as follows. Just an outline until a ruleset is established.


Clan: Brujah
Name: Oswald Mathers
Age: 800 years.
Generation: 5th (I'll drop these a bit if you want Kelly, but I think the idea holds sound).
Profession: Professor of the Classics, also responsible for the university archives.
Appearance: Mid-40s, bookish looking fellow, generally wears a crinkled and creased old brown suit.
Position in Vampire society: High ranked amongst the Brujah of the city, but many of the younger Brujah lack respect for him as he sticks to the old ways of knowledge and learning. Due to his position and age he is one of THE authorities on Vampire lore in the area (continental US) and as such holds an important position in the minds of the other clans. He is frequently courted by the Tremere who seek to learn more from him and has an established friendship with a wandering Malkav with whom he shares insights when they meet (Again, I'll leave it up to you, Kelly, as to what to do with this).

Joseph Sanchez was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1971. He was raised in his hometown, and at the age of eighteen, graduated form high school. From there, he began attendance at the University of New Mexico in 1989. Joshua had always been a night owl to begin with; he chose mainly evening classes, had fun at night, and slept and studied during the day.

In one particular calculus class at the beginning of his sophomore year, he met with a handsome man also in the class. His name was Michael Featherstone. As the class progressed, Joshua took a greater and greater interest in Michael. It also turned out, to Joshua's advantage, that he was gay, as well. They began to hang out more. They took classes the next semester. They had become lovers.

Eventually, Michael could no longer stand it. He was keeping a vital secret from Joshua. He needed to hear the one key thing that he needed to be told. Breaking one of the Traditions, Michael told Joshua that he was a vampire from the Toreador clan, and had been given permission to Embrace him. Joshua, out of love, saw no problem in this, and willingly accepted the Embrace.

Although Michael was of the Toreador clan, Joshua began to take on more and more of the characteristics of the Gangrel. This irked Michael at first, but he cared deeply enough to let it go, despite the difference in clan. In 2002 (present-day), something brought Michael to New Orleans, Louisiana. Joshua could not let him leave alone. He followed, to investigate.

Thats the point. He's old, but he isn't *that* powerful. And he's effectively neutral.

Like I said, if Kelly wants I can lower his age and raise his generation.

Jack Reece

Clan: Gangrel
Generation: 8th
Sire: Geoffrey D'Anjou

Background:
Jack Reece was a member of the US Special forces during the Gulf War. He was on a mission to kill an Iraqi official with extreme prejudice. What he did not realize was that he was being stalked in turn by Geoffrey D'Anjou, an infamous gangrel Assamite hunter who had been on a personal cruisade to destroy the clan since he strode into bloody Jerusalem in 1099.

Geoffery chooses his childer from among the greatest warriors of Christendom. (He has a deep prejudice gaainst non Christains including Jews.) In the hopes of turning them to help him in his cause. Those childer that reject him are labeled prodigals and abandoned to their fate. This usually leads to a violent final death as Clan Assamite will do anything to hurt Geoffrey, including slaying his childer.

Jack rejected his sire after realizing with horror what he had become and fled. Geoffrey would normally abandon such a failure to the Assamites but there are two factors that have prevented him from doing this. Geoffrey believes that Jack may be the finest Crisader he has turned in this century and wants him to join the cause and will use all his powers of persuasion to do so. Secondly, Jack is a dead ringer for Geoffrey's eldest natural born child that died of plague before Geoffrey went on Crusade. These two factors have made Jack more like a true prodigal son for Geoffrey who even now stalks him and tries to bend him to his will. He is currently toying with the idea of siccing the Assamites on Jack's wife and children in the hopes that their deaths would galvanize Jack into action agianst the clan.

Jack is currently living in New Orleans where his wife and two children live. He protects them from afar. (Geoffrey imparted at least the importance of the Masquerade before he fled.) Jack is a loner and his renown as a fighter preceeds him. Jack only fights when he has to and he is currently struggling with the beast and the change within him. He is still incredibly uncomfortable feeding and usually enters into fights TO feed.

Within the Camarilla Clan structure he would be regarded as a "neutral" that would best be left alone but if need be he could be pressed into service against Sabbat incursions as he has had many bad experiences with the Sabbat during his travels and has no love for them. Other Gangrel treat him with respect because of his lineage, a fact that irks him.

Any members of Clan Assamite would know precisiely who Geoffrey D'Anjou is and Jack is unaware that whenever he mentions his lineage it marks him for death if within the earshot of the clan. Other than a few fights that he chalked up to bad luck, he has no hatred for Clan Assamite. He does have a deep unabiding hatred for his sire, whom he views as a psycho, despot and wants nothing to do with him. Geoffrey acts like an exasperated father around Jack and always tries to impart some knowledge and "tough love" to his prodigal childe.

Due to an early frenzy, Jack's eyes glow a horrid crimson in low light and he usually wears dark sunglasses to hide this fact.

Member of old English nobility, born 1796. Since marrying a new woman, he became neglected by his father, and the son of his new wife became the family's favourite.
He tried to get his fathers attention by pursuing "unfashionable" things. He pretended to have interest in occult things and thus ventured into old libraries, and dark places.
Yet he didn't get his father's attention, he was fully ignored. But not by his sire, an old Tremere. He was considered unorthodox by his fellow Tremere, and proved it since he didn't kill Dachlan, when he slowly became aware of the vampiric world around him.
He put Dachlan to the test. If he would find him, he would sire him instead of killing him, since he didn't want to waste such a mind. And so he became a vampire.
He went with his sire to learn what it meant to be a vampire. Later he plotted to gain the family's wealth.
Years later, his sire was slain in an attack on the Tremere chantry by an unknown force. Ever since he is out to hunt the one's responsible.

Werewolves in general are enemies of the Vampires.

Yes, you would have to use some very powerful Gangrel to make contact.

However since Garal don't go berzerk nearly as often as wolves (Lower rage, higher Gnosis), get much nastyier bonuses to their strength when they spend rage. They are also more powerfull in the healing side of the arts. My other Vampire online characters are a Psychic detective (Not a hunter, not a full blown mage, just someone who see's dead people, and plays at being their P.I. (Kinda like Repairman Jack). And an Assamite "Mentat" (A kindred "Computer" and player of games, reads Art of War, Crunches numbers in his head, usually does quite well at deciphering whats going on for a price.)

Of these I usually the Middle Choice works best, as we first created him as a "Mortal" with a very high Auspex (Read's objects, see's and talks to ghosts, checks out murder scenes (Seeing the act play out from both sides of the scene.), and can do some projective techniques (Usually making people see things as they expect to see them "All dead presidents look alike you know")

Guys, I'll start a thread for character descriptions in the FF sometime soon. I want as much of stats, background AND description as you feel you should give. Also, I'd really like to know when you were "reborn" as it were. That way, any newly created characters can have additional points if you've been around a while.

The most fun I have ever had with an Elder/Childe character, was having a bog mummy from Ireland wake up in the modern age, becasue the stupid archology students woke her yup 2000 years after she went into Torpor (Leather noose still around her neck) stone dagger in her heart, she had been just a fledgling kindred when she went into the bog back in 70AD.

I wondered because you included some unecessary stuff. For one thing only Ventrue have a feeding prefernce. They have a specific type they feed on and none other. Tremere don't do that.
