So what got that one?MKSheppard wrote:Like this:AdmiralKanos wrote: It tastes good. It lends variety to the dining experience. You don't feel as bloated afterwards. You get to know precisely which parts of the animal you're eating (not like hot dogs or ground beef). You are closer to nature, as you must confront and accept the fact that you kill and eat other living beings for sustenance. It is good for your health. There are lots of reasons.

Ugh. That stuff looks sick. If they cut off all those bumps, it might look edible, though.Next of Kin wrote:Charcoal grilled octopus rocks! I had a plate of the stuff in Italy once and I just savoured every bite!
As for hot dogs, I think they taste great, even if you don't know (or want to know) what's in them. The hog testicles and sawdust really give it flavor.

Im not a big fan of seafood. Not because of the looks or where it came from. Just never really liked the taste. Ive never understood why people like crab, chinese style or american style.
I do like salmon and shrimp. Thats about it. Im used to eating the shrimps with the heads and eyes on them. Does not bug me. Rip off the head and eat the meat.

Ah, the eyes of the fish. You can unplug them and play with them in your mouth like they were candy. Except that no matter how long you suck, they never dissolve. Eventually you'll have to spit them back to the plate or swallow them.Cyril wrote:I just cannot enjoy the meat of an animal when the eyes of said animal are staring me in the face...
Want some advise: try to make the fish mouth into a smiling face, that way it seems it's enjoying it.

Ah, nothing like the flavor of raw white fish marinated in lime, onion, garlic and hot yellow peppers. Or rice mixed with tomato, parsley, seashells, squid, octopus, clam and hot peppers... Or squid and other assorted stuff, fried with flour and then dipped in marinara sauce.
Just can't find a better variety of food than wherever I come from... damn now I'll have to go tomorrow and have lunch on one of these places.

While I normally dislike seafood of most kinds, I actually love sushi (which, of course, is never complete without wasabi & soy sauce) and I also quite like crab meat (though I hate having to crack through the shell and dig for the meat)... *shrug*

That's the irritating part about eating crabs, cracking the shell. But when you do, you get the feeling that you "0wnz" it.Lord of the Farce wrote:While I normally dislike seafood of most kinds, I actually love sushi (which, of course, is never complete without wasabi & soy sauce) and I also quite like crab meat (though I hate having to crack through the shell and dig for the meat)... *shrug*

Actually, Lobsters are more closely related to cockroaches than too crabs. That does't mean I won't eat them.AdmiralKanos wrote: As I said, it's all about your hang-ups. And BTW, a lobster is not a giant bug,
That depends on the guy. I eat everything except the front of the head. Then again, I also eat chicken gizzards. I guess that's to be expected growing up the son of a poor fisherman and a poor farmer. You eat everything, cause you can't afford to waste any.and people don't eat its innards; they avoid the stomach area
Don't you go insulting sausage. I just had BBQed Moose meat susage yesterday and it rocked. The point isn't to insult certain categories of food, but to avoid poor quality foods. Don't like to eat an anus? Get Kosher food, they can only use muscle in their sausages. Why should the idea of cracking open a lobster and eating its tailmeat be any more revolting than the idea of grinding up a cow into paste, compressing it into sausages, and then selling it as "food"?
No they're bloody well not!C.S.Strowbridge wrote: Actually, Lobsters are more closely related to cockroaches than too crabs. That does't mean I won't eat them.
Cockroaches are insects, related to the isoptera (termites)
Crabs and lobsters are crustaceans.

I love all types of Sea food..cept the ones that are like jelly.
I luv lobsters and especially CRABS. Crabs are cool...I remember my father bought some and started chopping them in half. Even after chopped in half they're still alive
My favorite is Salmon and smoked fish. Not to mention squids.
Cyaround,

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Yeah, this Georgia Bulldog fan LOVES fried gator.
Crunchiness, chewiness, spiciness, and meatiness all at the same time. I love it.

I can order ou some, genuine Cajun alligator. I could get it every week, but alligators are getting the near endangered species list back from the DDT days.IG-88E wrote:Yesyesyes.
