It's probably because there aren't many Sci-FI chicks.

I know a few girl nerds, but they all read fantasy.

The only reason I read Sci Fi is because my family had about 100 Asimov books when I was growing up, and they told me that he was good, so I got into Sci FI that way.

Funny thing is, despite liking Sci Fi, neither of my parents have seen Star Wars.

I'm a sci-fi person meself, can't get into fantasy unless it's Terry Pratchett. One day I may just get over the first chapter to LotR.

Besides, I have a boyfriend.

He was impressed with me because I'm the second Sci Fi chick he's ever met.

And the first one turned into a fantasy chick, which is kinda like dying in a way.

I'm not fit any more. I used to be, but then I was moved from midfield to goalie, and now I do stuff all exercise.

It's Australian. Made here by one of the local networks. They showed season 1 intermittently at a reasonable time slot (although they never told us when they were taking it off and putting it back on), then they moved it to a kiddie's timeslot in Season 2, so half of it had to be cut, and we haven't had it in about a year now. What season are they up to?

Ah, well I rarely watch it (more an SG-1 fan) but I have seen season 3 DVDs and the British Sci-Fi channel (broke off from US version, not affiliated) is upto season 3 as well.
