I may not have fathered children of my own, but I did help raise my sisters when their father left and my mother was left having to work to support us. And I'll tell you this. My sisters (twins) will drive anyone up a wall. But there is no problem that a parent can't solve. Sometimes, you have, sometimes you have to ground them, and sometimes you have to lay hands on them. And its ok, when its done right. Any parent who can not raise their own child and is willing to entrust them to strangers is not a parent.

Even USMC boot camp isn't this bad. They may break you down, but its to make you realize that your ass is part of something bigger and you have others relying on you as much as you rely on them. They dont brainwash you though. This camp and any like are abominations to what it means to be human. Children should not be made to endure this. hell, there are few adults that this should be inflicted on.

Legal or not, no nation should allow its children to be taken from its soil for the perpous to be reprogramed. I would ask any US citizen that has read this to print out a copy of it and mail it to your senators and congressmen.

From what i read most of the "crimes" these teenages are committing are the crimes of actually being individuals and thinking for themselves.

Ohh my GOD some of them actually smoked grass, SHOCK HORROR, lets send them all away to a place where they will be beaten into submission and will never use something as harmless as weed again but will instead be so mentally tramatized that the shrinks will need to keep them on all forms for anti-depressants/anti-psychotics for the rest of their lives.

my god, generally i detest violence but i know 2 things:
1. This facility and all who work at it and all the parents who sent their children there and all who facilitated it (like the goons you can hire to kidnapp your kids and send them there) deserve the worst punishment that can be immagined, i havent figured out what it is, but hot pokers comming into contact with assholes arent out of the question.
2. Had my parents sent me to such a facility, the moment i got home, id be convicted for dual homocide, seeing as how they wouldnt live to say "hello"

Actually, you would probably obediently live in fear of your parents, being a very good son, as you are completely terrified of them, or any other authority figure for that matter. Honestly, I support the idea of parents having the right to control their children--but this is a fucking disgusting cop-out by parents who can't control their children, and so they let some tin-pot Beria down in Jamaica do it for them for cash, instead, and instead of raising them to be productive citizens of a democracy, turns them into mindless, terrorized peons who could be inhabitants of the DPRK. Yeah... reading about that made me think of A Clockwork Orange, except that the treatment in the book was actually more humane (at least Alex ate well and slept in a warm bed). You never think about these things existing in real life, only in works of fiction designed for social commentary. This needs to stop, and soon. And the real sick thing is that the people responsible for this won't be punished. After all, the Caribbean is known for it's loose extradition laws. Even if this gets shut down and the people who work their brought up for crimes in the United States, as long as they stay in Jamaica, they cannot be touched.

Much as I dislike the notion of taking the law into my own hands, it does indeed appear that vigilante action is the only way to stop this. I would suggest quietly hiring a team of ex-Spetsnaz mercenaries.
